What Is Phenylephrine Hcl And Chlorpheniramine Maleate Used For?

Uses Uses temporarily relieves these symptoms due to hay fever (allergic rhinitis) or other upper respiratory allergies:

  • runny nose
  • sneezing
  • itchy, watery eyes
  • nasal congestion
  • itching of the nose or throat
  • sinus congestion and pressure

  • Dosage and Administration

    Directions Adults and Children12 years of age and over: take 1 tablet every 4-6 hours. Do not exceed 6 tablets in 24 hours Children 6 to under 12 years of age: 1/2 tablet every 4-6 hours, not to exceed 3 tablets in a 24 our period Children under 6 years of age: Consult a physician.

    Warnings and Precautions

    Do not use if you are now taking a prescription monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) (certain drugs for depression, psychiatric or emotional conditions or Parkinson’s disease), or for 2 weeks after stopping the MAOI drug. If you do not know if your prescription drug contains an MAOI, ask a doctor or pharmacist before taking this product. Ask a doctor before use if you have

  • diabetes
  • trouble urinating due to an enlarged prostate gland

  • nervousness, dizziness, or sleeplessness occurs
